Getting Started
How do I install Wolfes Club on iPhone or Android?
Search "Wolfes Club" on the Apple App Store (iOS 15+) or Google Play Store (Android 9+). Tap Install, then open the app to create your account.
How do I create an account?
Open the app, tap Sign Up, and enter your phone number or email. You'll receive a one-time code to verify. Add your name and bike details — that's it.
How do I join my first pack ride?
Ask the ride leader to share an invite link or code. Tap the link, or enter the code under Rides → Join Pack. You'll appear on the pack map once the ride starts.
How do I invite another rider to my pack?
From the pack screen, tap the Invite icon to share a link through WhatsApp, SMS, or email. The rider taps the link to join the pack and appear on the map.
Ride Tracking
How do I start and end a ride?
Tap Start Ride on the pack screen. Live location tracking begins for everyone in the pack. Tap End Ride when you're done — your ride is saved to your history.
How accurate is GPS tracking?
We use the device's high-accuracy GPS, typically within 5-10 metres in open areas. Accuracy can drop in dense forest, tunnels, or heavy cloud cover. For best results, keep Precise Location on and avoid thick metal phone cases that block GPS signal.
How much battery does a ride use?
Expect roughly 10-15% per hour with the screen off. For long rides, use a handlebar mount with USB-C power. The app batches location updates to minimise drain.
What happens when I lose signal on a ride?
Your ride is recorded locally and uploads automatically when signal returns. Pack members will see your last known position until you reconnect, at which point your full path fills in.
Account & Privacy
How do I change my profile (name, bike, photo)?
Go to Profile → Edit. You can update your name, profile photo, and bike details (make, model, year). Changes save as soon as you tap Done.
How do I delete my account?
You can delete your account from Settings → Account → Delete Account, or follow the three options on our delete account page. Deletion is scheduled immediately and completes within 30 days.
What data does Wolfes Club collect?
We collect account details (name, phone or email), location data during rides, bike details, and chat messages sent inside a pack. Full details are in our privacy policy.
Troubleshooting
The app won't open or crashes on launch
Force-quit the app and reopen it. If it still fails, restart your phone, then check for an app update in the App Store or Play Store. If the problem persists, message us with your device model, OS version, and app version.
Location tracking isn't working
Open your phone's Settings, find Wolfes Club, and confirm Location permission is set to "Always" or "While Using", with Precise Location on. Toggle location services off and back on, then restart the app.
I'm not getting notifications
Check phone Settings → Notifications → Wolfes Club and confirm notifications are allowed. Inside the app, open Settings → Notifications and make sure ride and chat alerts are enabled. Do Not Disturb or Focus modes will also silence alerts.
iOS: Background App Refresh and Precise Location
On iPhone, go to Settings → Wolfes Club and enable Background App Refresh, set Location to "Always", and turn on Precise Location. Without these, tracking pauses when the screen locks and positions may drift during the ride.
Android: battery optimisation and background location
On Android, go to Settings → Apps → Wolfes Club and set Battery to "Unrestricted" (or exclude from battery optimisation). Under Permissions → Location, choose "Allow all the time". Some brands (Xiaomi, OnePlus, Realme, Vivo) have an extra Autostart setting that must also be enabled.
